It is a story of a girl overcoming her inner most critic, herself, to get away from it and see the wonderful things that life can offer.

This is a project that has been on my mind for a long time. I have been fortunate to have the freedom of choice. We moved to the UK when I was a kid and my parents worked hard to give me a good life, providing me with the opportunities, support, and everything I needed to succeed. I recognise that these are privileges not everyone is afforded, and I have always been grateful for them. Yet, despite having so much within my reach, I have often found myself scared or thinking I can't pursue the things I want.

Sometimes, the greatest obstacles in our lives are not the people who doubt us, the circumstances that challenge us, or the doors that remain closed. Sometimes, the obstacle is the voice within us that tells us we are not good enough, that we might fail, or that we should not even try.

There are moments when no one is holding us back, yet we remain confined by our own fears. And somewhere along the way, we begin to mistake the limits we have placed upon ourselves for the limits of what is possible.

I have come to realise that fear and self-doubt have held back the ideas I long to bring to life and the experiences I wish to embrace and there are times I have a lot of hesitations. Perhaps the saddest part is knowing that the things we are afraid to pursue are often the very things that could bring us joy.

That is why I chose to begin this project. I wanted to give the ideas that have been on my head for so long. More than simply sharing my work, I hope this becomes a way of challenging myself, learning to trust my own abilities, and finding the courage to create despite my uncertainties.

I do not expect fear to disappear overnight. Instead, I want to learn how to move forward even when it is still there. I want to stop waiting until I feel confident enough, talented enough, or ready enough to begin. Perhaps confidence is not something we must find before taking the first step, but something we slowly discover by taking it.

This project is my attempt to begin.
