The project explores the concept of psychological nomad: one, emotionally distant from their original home, tries to seek intimacy in a world of uncertainty.
The Strangers is a contemplation on the psychological nomad: one who, emotionally distanced from the home where one is from, dissembles intimacy into fragments of the virtual world — video games, dating apps, likes and follows on social media, and other artifacts of modern technology, seeking substitutes for intimacy in the absence of certainty. Because if nothing is permanent, nowhere is home, yet everywhere can be.
