**An ongoing documentary project exploring Rome's surviving artisan workshops, where gestures, memory and manual knowledge preserve a different experience of time.**

Keepers of Time is an ongoing documentary project exploring these spaces and the people who inhabit them. Rather than documenting disappearing professions, the work reflects on memory, identity and the relationship between human beings and manual labor.

Working exclusively in black and white, the photographs focus on gesture, texture and light, removing every distraction to reveal the quiet dignity of craftsmanship. Every image becomes a suspended moment where time seems to slow down.

These workshops are not museums of the past. They are living places where knowledge continues to evolve through practice, patience and repetition.

Ultimately, Keepers of Time is an invitation to look beyond the finished object and recognize the human gesture that gives it meaning.
