Because life seems to pass by so quickly, we forget to look at ourselves and ask, "Am I truly happy with the life I'm living? Are the decisions I'm making my own, or are they based on other people's opinions? Do I really enjoy what I'm doing with my life?

The blue of the cyanotype print, on cotton fabric, represents the sky (the spiritual realm), and the red of the thread, on transparent acetate, represents the earth (earthly life). All of this is stitched together like a puzzle of the body that we constantly try to solve in our minds. For this reason, it became relevant for me to investigate how we, as people, give meaning to the world we interact with, between the rational-analytical and the mystical-emotional. We must continually play with these elements to find ourselves amidst all the noise.

This project allowed me to see the image as more than just capturing the moment. It allowed me to feel with my hands all the doubts that can arise in my mind and be reflected in other parts of my body, my relationship with finding meaning in my daily life and not being overwhelmed by destructive thoughts.
