Creatures

Creatures is a photographic project exploring the concept of the brotherhood of all creatures, inspired by the fauna, flora, and natural forces present in the island of Majorca and its extensive forests.

Creatures is a photographic project about the fauna, flora, and natural forces present in the island of Mallorca, inspired by the unique perspective on nature of Saint Francis of Assisi found in his Canticle of the Creatures. It is a tribute to all beings that inhabit the planet in an eternal symbiosis that we may have forgotten.

The project seeks to highlight his contributions on the natural world in the face of a crisis in our civilization that is shaking our conception of humanity. Who are we in a world and a universe where all beings and elements, living and non-living, are interconnected in a perpetual flow?

This approach invites us to a non-linear, multi-layered narrative style, in which the different voices of the forest intertwine in a multifaceted choreography that, for once, abandons the single-perspective viewpoint.
