As a photographer I have always loved the moments between moments, the lost moments, the unexpected moments, when time and space seem to conflate in a surreal inner world of quiet drama.

Inside communal celebrations there are moments between the grand moments -sometimes people notice, sometimes they don't. They often have a somnambulate quality - the moments might be surreal or seem to happen in slow motion because they are not expected. As a photographer, tuning in to the wide and subtle spectrum of female emotions and sensibility captures an unexpected record of the vulnerability of the human soul.
