"Asé Coroa de Flores" is a personal project born from my quest to convey the strength and beauty of ancestry. Each element of the image was designed to honor culture and life, transforming photography into an act of celebration and recovery.
In Yoruba mythology, there is the story of Oshun and the male Orishas. According to the myth, in the beginning, the Orishas met without the presence of women. Oshun, ignored, used her power over fertility to render the Earth unproductive, until Olorum (the supreme God) ordered her inclusion in decision-making. This story shows that Oshun's strength is not based on aggression, but on her wisdom, her power of creation, and her ability to make others recognize their worth.
In short, being a "child of Oshun" means carrying qualities such as beauty, sensitivity, intelligence, and the power of attraction, in a combination that reflects the complexity and strength of the Orisha of fresh waters.
