Each of us carries our own cries from the shadows; I chose to give mine a history, with a frame but without a face.

A Frame Without Face is a visual story born from a need to stop looking at the world as it is, and instead to hold on to moments in their shadowed parts.

The project seeks to show that we do not need to see everything in order to see, understand, and feel. I embrace the idea that, sometimes, meaning is born precisely from what is incomplete, or, more importantly, from what remains ambiguous. Over-explaining, over-showing, exposing contrasts and colors is not the driving force of this work. What interests me more is the murmur of shadows and light passing through our eyelids, imposing multiple meanings and perspectives upon us.

Sometimes, even meaning escapes us. What remains is then a question—one that, at the same time, affirms something essential: truth does not need a face for us to accept it.

Through black-and-white photographs built around shadows, light, and what deliberately remains outside the frame, A Frame Without Face seeks less to show than to let us see.

The Voice of FaithNo need to speak to spit out the ills or the words;the eyes speak without a voice, with the voice of faith.Yet this voice would not lead to the right way, leaving the eyes shining with a cold spark—praying, but often doing nothing but crying.

explosion of identityThe accumulation of fragments, morals, stereotypes, and social barriers does not make up identity; it causes its fragmentation and, ultimately, its explosion. This self-portrait is deliberately blurred, condensed, and almost illegible. Through a long exposure and a movement made with the phone, I distorted and erased the stability of the facial features.

Anger does not fully leave when it erupts as smoke; it gathers, condensed into a single breath. Where language is not enough to carry that breath, it takes winding paths simply to diminish itself. Yet what gathers does not diminish, even when it is nothing more than the anger of smoke.

In emptiness, we do not feel silence, but rather the reflection of everything the imagination can bring forth. A pack of emptiness is worth a pack of doubt, and a pack of fear that lets fall what was once acquired. There, a simple wall is no longer a wall, but rather a fabric upon which the reflection of every dream can appear.
