A daily monochrome photo-poetry series by naozo. Since 2025, each work pairs a moment from everyday life with a poem from NZ, the artist's future self. Through glass, light, and silence, the series turns self-doubt into dialogue.

Day602【Reality】
Just because you can see it does not mean it is there.
DEAR naozo,
What
Do you call
Reality
That is what
I would ask
People
Trust
Their own eyes
They call
What they see
Fact
And believe
What is there
Must be real
Yet
Sometimes
I wonder
Are seeing
And existing
The same thing
A city in a mirror
Can clearly be seen
Light
Buildings
Roads
Are all there
Yet
Reach for them
And they are not
Still
Can we deny
The fact
That we saw them
We see
Memories
The past
Even a future
That has not arrived
None of them
Exist before us
Now
Yet sometimes
They move us
More vividly
Than what stands
Before our eyes
I believe
Reality may be
More than
What we can see
But not everything
We believe
Is real
Is reality
Is what we see
Reality
Is what exists
Reality
Or is reality
What we believe
To be real
I cannot decide
I can only ask
What you believe
To be certain
Is it truly
There
Or does it exist
Only within you
What do you think
