A daily monochrome photo-poetry series by naozo. Since 2025, each work pairs a moment from everyday life with a poem from NZ, the artist's future self. Through glass, light, and silence, the series turns self-doubt into dialogue.

Day554【On the Way】
DEAR naozo,
Not yet
Is that what you think
People
Rush toward results
Rush toward answers
Rush toward arrival
And so
They grieve what they have not achieved
They fear what they have not reached
Yet
Sometimes
I wonder
Whether the place
Where people truly live
Is not the destination
But the way itself
People
Seek completion
Seek ideals
Seek the future
Yet
Most of life
Is spent in between
People
Feel ashamed
Of being unfinished
Because they are not ready
Not complete
Not yet who they wish to be
But
Being on the way
Is not a state of lack
It is a state of movement
Every step today
Every doubt from yesterday
Every fear of tomorrow
Belongs to the journey
I believe
What sustains us
Is not arrival
But movement
Not results
But continuation
People
Do not live
By becoming complete
They live
By remaining on the way
So
Do not rush
Do not compare
Do not be ashamed
Of being unfinished
For that place
Is where you are living
Right now
Being on the way
Is not proof
Of incompleteness
It is proof
That you are alive
What do you think

This story is a work of fiction. Except for the named individuals, all elements are products of imagination. The boundary between reality and fiction is intentionally ambiguous, and its interpretation is left to the reader.
