PhotoVogue 2026 Regional Open Call: MENA Panorama

PhotoVogue's MENA Panorama awards $8,000 across three grants, offering artists from the Middle East, North Africa, and their diasporas opportunities for publication, festival presentation, and international visibility.

Overview

MENA Panorama is PhotoVogue's regional open call celebrating the diversity of visual voices across the Middle East and North Africa. Rather than defining the region through a single narrative, it invites photographers and video makers to explore identity, belonging, social and political realities, fashion, and experimentation through distinct and compelling visual languages. The initiative aims to amplify artists who challenge dominant narratives and represent their communities on their own terms.

Practical Info

The open call is free and open to artists from the Middle East and North Africa, as well as members of the diaspora. Applicants may enter in two categories: Photo, consisting of one photo story of 5–15 images – including multimedia projects combining images and video – or Video, with files up to 60 seconds. AI-generated works are not eligible.

Three artists will receive grants totaling $8,000: the Outstanding Vision Grant ($4,500), the Vision Grant ($2,000), and the Rising Voice Grant ($1,500). Selected artists will also be featured at the 2027 PhotoVogue Festival, have opportunities for publication across Condé Nast, and participate in PhotoVogue Virtual Portfolio Reviews.
