PhotoVogue awards $12,000 across three artists, with opportunities for publication in Vogue, presentation at the PhotoVogue Festival, and participation in Virtual Portfolio Reviews.
Overview
Under the theme Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion, PhotoVogue invites photographers and video makers to respond to today's social, political, and cultural realities through original visual storytelling. Rather than illustrating a prescribed theme, the open call encourages artists to present a distinct point of view, challenging conventions, resisting indifference, and expanding the possibilities of contemporary image-making across photography, video, and multimedia.
Practical Info
The open call is free and open to artists worldwide. Applicants may submit one photo project – consisting of 5–15 images, or a combination of images and video in the case of multimedia projects –, or one video up to 60 seconds. AI-generated works are not eligible.
Three artists will receive grants totaling $12,000: the Outstanding Vision Grant ($6,000), the Vision Grant ($4,000), and the Rising Voice Grant ($2,000). Prize recipients will also be featured at the PhotoVogue Festival, with opportunities for publication across Vogue's global editions and participation in the PhotoVogue Virtual Portfolio Reviews.
