The Photographic Exploration Project (PEP) is accepting submissions for a group exhibition set to take place in March of 2025 in the city of Berlin, during the European Month of Photography.

Overview

The Photographic Exploration Project (PEP) is asking for submission for their upcoming exhibition under the theme Parallel Realities.

Where do you situate your artistic practice in this context? Are you trying to represent certain realities that matter to you and that you think should be unveiled? Do you produce images reinforcing or challenging the public's certainties and representations of the world? Do you intentionally show your perception of the world in your images, telling the viewer as much about who you are as about the subject depicted - and therefore creating alternate ways to look at reality? What is the relationship of the viewer with your photographs? Do they act as a separation or as a link that connects your respective experiences?

Whatever your style or approach to photography, PEP is looking for works that show the coexistence of parallel realities, revealing the vibrant diversity of the world we inhabit and the multiple perceptions we have of it and inviting to open up and broaden our horizons.

Practical Info

This call is open for any photographer, from any country. All types and approaches of photography are welcome, inspire the world by showing what you are best at!

About PEP

PEP aims at exploring the photographic language in all its aspects, photography being considered as a way of communication using its own visual elements as pieces of a particular vocabulary. Each element of this “visual lexicon” constitutes a theme in itself, further explored in a free and personal way by various artists who ultimately show the result of their work in a collective exhibition. The aspect of the collectivity is central to the project: the plurality of perspectives allows to reach a wider and more creative approach by opening each theme to new ways of interpretation likely to challenge the common ideas usually associated with them and create an expanding and innovative visual lexicon.
