The OD Photo Prize awards £2,000, mentorship, a London exhibition, and long-term gallery representation opportunities to emerging photographic artists working within the first ten years of their practice.

Overview

The sixth edition of the OD Photo Prize invites all emerging artists working within the first ten years of their practice. Open-themed and inclusive of all photographic practices, it welcomes work ranging from documentary and street photography to conceptual, mixed media, and experimental approaches. The prize is designed to discover distinctive artistic voices while supporting the long-term development of early-career photographers through exhibitions, mentorship, and professional opportunities.

Practical Info

Applications must include one photographic project (6–15 images) and a supporting text. The Grand Prize includes a £2,000 cash award, long-term mentorship, an Artsy profile, representation on the OD Artist platform, an interview with 1000 Words Magazine, and inclusion in the exhibition. At least 20 artists will be shortlisted for a group exhibition in London.

Additional opportunities include two Runners-Up awards, Judges' Picks, the InCadaqués Award, the AJ Page Award (People's Choice), portfolio reviews, and ongoing exposure through Open Doors Gallery's exhibitions, publications, and collector network.

The jury is composed of Paul Cupido (Artist), Jennifer Latour (OD Artist), Elisa Medde (Art Historian | Editor, writer, curator), Olivia & Valmont (InCadaques Festival), Tom Page (Open Doors Gallery), Karlijn Bozon & Nadine Van Asbeck (Homecoming Gallery), Wesley Verhoeve (Photographer, Curator & Writer), Robert Morat (Robert Morat Gallery).
