Earth Partner Prize 2026

The 7th annual Earth Partner Prize invites artists to submit work that comments on the ecological crisis. Eight finalists will be awarded cash prizes up to $10,000.

Overview

The Earth Partner Prize is an annual international open call inviting young artists to engage with the ecological crisis through creative practice. Now in its 8th edition, the prize focuses on amplifying voices of artists aged 14 to 30, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to contribute to global conversations on climate justice. The initiative encourages work that reflects on environmental breakdown, social inequality, and systems of change, positioning artistic practice as a tool for awareness, critique, and cultural transformation.

Practical Info

The open call is free and open worldwide to artists aged 14–30. Submissions are accepted across a wide range of media, including photography, film, performance, music, fashion, writing, design, and new media. AI-assisted work is allowed but must be clearly disclosed, including reflection on its use and impact. Projects should address themes related to the ecological crisis, such as climate justice, biodiversity loss, Indigenous rights, activism, and regeneration.

Eight finalists will receive cash prizes of $10,000, $5,000, or $2,000, alongside 20 honourable mentions selected by an international jury. Selected works will be showcased across Art Partner and Earth Partner platforms and may be presented in international exhibitions and forums, including UN and climate-focused cultural events.
