A glimpse of Vancouver through ordinary moments — people passing, working, waiting, and moving through the city. Unposed and observed from a distance, these photographs look for the small gestures and quiet intersections that often disappear unnoticed.

Sulyap — YVR: Between the City and Street is a collection of candid photographs made while walking through Vancouver. The work observes the city without directing it — people commuting, working, passing one another, or simply occupying a moment in the urban landscape.

I photograph from a distance and allow scenes to unfold naturally. I am drawn to gestures, expressions, reflections, shadows, and the relationship between people and the spaces around them.

These photographs are not intended to describe Vancouver as a destination. They are simply glimpses of everyday life — brief moments that existed, and then disappeared.
