Shoreline: Tranquility of Spaciousness

I am drawn to the wide open spaces of beach, ocean and sky here in the Pacific Northwest. There is peace in these places; a tranquility of spaciousness.

The far horizon, the waves, the graceful ripples of sand by the water’s edge—these inspire me. In my work, I’m searching for that place where person and nature meet, where they experience the quiet immensity and exist together in peace; the shoreline.

My hope is the viewer may feel a quiet connection with nature, the importance of wide open space and the beauty of small details of life as they pass by.
