What began in the late summer of 2020 as a trip to Greece turned into a five-year search for some kind of solace that never materialized.
I returned there every summer, sometimes twice, driven by a need for something I couldn’t quite grasp. Gradually, it revealed that my geography of solitude was not a symptom of a global crisis but an inherent trait. As the pandemic restrictions dissolved, my internal isolation remained.
