Passing By is an ongoing photographic series that explores the quiet moments we often overlook in everyday life. Through observations of people, public spaces, and fleeting encounters, the project reflects on how we move through the world while constantly passing by one another.

Rather than searching for extraordinary events, I am drawn to moments that exist on the edge of our attention: strangers sharing the same horizon, someone waiting alone, a passing glance, or a brief pause within the rhythm of a city. These ordinary experiences are often forgotten almost as quickly as they happen, yet they quietly shape how we experience the world.

The project began from a desire to slow down my own way of looking. In a culture driven by speed and constant distraction, photography became a way to remain present and notice what usually escapes our attention. Each image is an invitation to pause and reflect on the relationships between people, place, and time.

For me, Passing By is less about documenting specific locations and more about observing the shared experience of moving through life. The work suggests that the smallest moments, those that seem insignificant at first, often carry the deepest sense of connection and memory.
