In the deepest pain,my mind found refuge in what most people pass by, light on water, structures in a drop, air bubbles frozen in ice.The bubbles became a symbol of resilience, even at the very bottom,we carry a natural tendency to rise towards light

I have been interested in photography since childhood, when there were no smartphones and I had only a small film camera. My most intense photographic period, however, came only recently. After the death of my husband, I went through a profound life transformation, which opened my eyes to a true way of seeing the world. Photography became much more to me than art. It became a path to healing my soul, body and heart, and to finding my own worth and self-love. It helped me through the hardest moments, when pain kept me awake for days and I wondered whether I could bear any more. In moments of the deepest pain, my survival instinct awakened and my mind closed itself into fascination – into observing things most people pass by without noticing. Light reflecting on the surface of water, air bubbles trapped in ice, structures forming in a drop of water, tiny details of nature, the swift movement of an animal that noticed my presence only at the last moment, or fleeting moments that last a fraction of a second – anything that could occupy my mind, anything that helped me detach from my body… This fascination gave birth to my first collection, Divine Transformation. Its main motif is bubbles frozen in ice. For me, they have become a symbol of human resilience and the ability to rise again. They remind me that even when we find ourselves at the very bottom, we still carry within us a natural tendency to rise – towards light, towards hope and towards a new beginning. The whole collection reflects my own journey from pain to renewal, from closedness to openness, and from fear to trust. In my work I do not create imaginary worlds. Instead, I try to reveal those that already exist around us but, in today's chaotic and stressful times, remain suppressed and hidden beyond the edge of ordinary perception. It is this boundary that interests me most – the boundary between the visible and the invisible, between reality and imagination, science and spirituality, love and hate, wealth and poverty, health and illness. When I look through the lens, I often find landscapes, faces, planets or entire universes where others see only ice, water or a reflection of light. And I often find emptiness in human faces, which I try to bring back to life – with a smile, a kind word and, when I feel it, with my help. [This idea continues in my current project, Touch of Other Worlds, in which I explore how many different realities can hide in a single image. A drop of water can become a planet, ice a mountain landscape, and a reflection of light a gateway to an unknown space. These photographs are not about escaping reality. They are about discovering its depth – realising that the world is far richer, more mysterious and more beautiful than it may seem at first glance.] All these images truly exist. They are part of our world and are only waiting for someone to notice them. In the same way, there are people around us who feel pain and pray that someone will see it and help them. Perhaps that person is right next to you, just try looking around. At least once a day, try to find a minute of your precious time to stop and look around… Perhaps a new path will open for you too. And perhaps you will simply realise what a great gift this life is. In the end, the greatest transformation does not happen in front of the lens. It happens inside each of us… All you need is to look with your heart and, through photography, stop time.
