A visual investigation into memory, ephemerality, and hidden pasts.

"Cellophane" is the name of a feeling before it is a surface: the opaque transparency of what lets itself be glimpsed without ever fully revealing itself. Born from a need to explore the boundaries of memory, the series investigates the reasons that push our minds to fragment and discard parts of our lives. Moving between dream and reality through subtle chiaroscuro, the project seeks an interpretation for a past that has remained in the shadows but was never entirely erased.

Through layered exposures and an intimate handling of light, the images act as membranes—delicate and reflective barriers that separate who we were from who we are now. "Cellophane" does not aim to reconstruct an objective history, but rather to map the emotional residue of what time leaves behind, turning fleeting fragments into permanent visual impressions.
