A daily monochrome photo-poetry series by naozo. Since 2025, each work pairs a moment from everyday life with a poem from NZ, the artist's future self. Through glass, light, and silence, the series turns self-doubt into dialogue.

Day560【Maturation】
DEAR naozo,
Do you still rush
That is what
I would ask
People
Want results quickly
Want recognition quickly
Want to arrive quickly
And so
They struggle
To endure waiting
Yet
Sometimes
I wonder
Whether what shapes a person
Is not effort alone
But time
People
Plant seeds
Give water
Cultivate the soil
Yet
They cannot decide
When the seed will sprout
They cannot decide
When the flower will bloom
No matter how much
they wish for it
They cannot hasten
the seasons
Still
People rush
They ask
How much longer
They ask
Why not yet
But
Maturation
Is not a period
In which nothing happens
It is a period
In which change continues
Beyond sight
People
Do not grow
By adding more
They grow
By accepting time
I believe
Fruit never hurries
Only people do
So
Do not rush
Do not dig up
What you have planted
Do not keep doubting
Trust what you began
Maturation
Is not proof of talent
It is proof
That you stayed
Long enough
For time to do its work
What do you think
